If next elections not held electronically, Pakistan can fall into civil war: Arif Hameed Bhatti
Lahore: If the next general elections are not held electronically, then a Civil War is imminent in Pakistan.

Speaking in GNN programme ‘Khabar Hay’ senior journalist Arif Hameed Bhatti said that he was happy with the PML-N victory in Daska by-poll. But PTI candidate Asad Malhi had claimed his victory in the elections. “If PML-N would be in government then ECP would have bounded to announce the results at any cost, even at gunpoint” he added.

“If the next elections are held without elections reforms, then a civil war can have struck Pakistan.”
Two people were murdered during Daska by-election. The government along opposition should now have dialogue to pave a way for holding hold next elections electronically. Keeping in view the current situation, where 2 people were massacred during the election process, if next votes could not have held electronically there is a chance of great disaster in future, he added
