He stated: “No other country was allowed to interfere in the affairs during the performance of Hajj”.

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Senator Talha Mehmood said that the quota of 179,210 pilgrims will be introduced for Hajj in 2024 in which Pakistanis will pay in US dollars, not Pakistani rupees.
While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Talha Mehmood said that around 160,000 Pakistanis have performed Hajj this year and Saudi government has made remarkable arrangements on the occasion.
He stated: “No other country was allowed to interfere in the affairs during the performance of Hajj”.
The federal minister added that he was offered Hajj as a royal guest, but he preferred to perform Hajj like a common man.
“I also went through all the problems that a common pilgrim does, which have been communicated to the Saudi minister, on which he made an inquiry and assured the solution of the future problems,” further said the senator.
Talha continued to say that he did not allow anyone to perform Hajj for free and will not allow anyone to do so.
In response to a question, he said that I do not know how many people went for Hajj with President Dr. Arif Alvi as he was a royal guest and it has nothing to do with the ministry.
