The interior minister says that the party is starting its election campaign in Punjab from today.

Lahore: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) announced on Friday that Punjab would serve as the party's "starting point" for its upcoming election campaign.
Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah declared, “The PML-N is starting its election campaign in Punjab from today,”.
He expressed these words while addressing a press conference in Lahore on Friday.
The PML-N leader emphasized the party's energetic approach to the electoral process and assured that PML-N candidates would be actively involved in each constituency.
Sanaullah stated, “The party will have 146 candidates for the National Assembly and 297 candidates for the provincial assembly, representing the party across all constituencies."
Regarding seat adjustments with other parties, Sanaullah clarified that there would be limited room for such arrangements. He emphasized, “We will not forget the party's dedicated members and leaders,”.
PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif had earlier presided over party meetings to discuss political and legal matters, as well as the upcoming political strategy. The meetings also included plans to warmly welcome Nawaz upon his return to the country.
Nawaz authorized PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz to oversee party affairs and handle matters related to the upcoming elections.
