Mumbai: India became the hub of global drug trafficking.
According to annual report of International Narcotics Control Board (INCB), India is the world leader in the production and trade of drugs on the dark net. India bought cheap drugs through Afghanistan, worth more than $6.5 billion.
According to the US State Department report, India is the leading supplier of chemicals for the production of synthetic drugs such as fentanyl and methamphetamine.
It is reported that India's pharmaceutical industry promoted the drug extensively within the country, and is now using drones to spread drug trafficking in Pakistan.
