Govt to introduce a Constitutional amendment in National Assembly to create South Punjab province


Mailsi: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has announced Rs500 billion in development projects for the South Punjab region.
Addressing to the large numbers of the people in PTI rally by accompanied with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar in Vehari district’s Mailsi, PM Khan announced Rs500 billion in development projects for the South Punjab region. He also said that the government will introduce a Constitutional amendment in the National Assembly to create South Punjab province.
“The government will see if the PPP and PMLN who have been promising the province to the people of the region support the amendment or not,” the prime minister said.
Not to surrender in any case before looters
He said despite high inflation in the world, he has reduced petrol and electricity rates. He made a promise to people that he will bring the prices of fuel at half rates if succeeded to take back the looted money of Nawaz Sharif. He also announced not to surrender in any case before the looters.
PM scolds EU envoys for writing letter over Ukraine
Imran Khan said European Union ambassadors have written a (joint) letter to Pakistan, asking it to vote against Russia. “I ask European Union ambassador, did you write the same letter to India as well,” he said.
He said Pakistan supported Nato in the ‘war on terror’ but if he was in power he would never have supported the West in the war on terror, which left 80,000 Pakistanis dead and caused the country losses of $100 billion.
“I ask European Union ambassadors did you thank us,” he said.
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar that the government will set up a university in Vehari. He also said that Multan-Vehari road will be inaugurated in May.
