Felicitating the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated the government's commitment to protect the rights of minorities, which are guaranteed and protected in the Constitution.
Prime Minister posted a cake cutting ceremony on his official Twitter account and wrote: “Merry Christmas to the Christian community around the world & particularly our Pakistani Christian brothers & sisters”.
He added that Jesus Crist’s teachings of love, brotherhood and peace are beacon of light for us.
Sharif further added, “On this day, let us all pledge to work for peace and prosperity of all.
