‘Young Pakistani entrepreneurs reshaping Pak-US relations’: Masood Khan
US Ambassador Masood Khan emphasized the role of young entrepreneurs in strengthening the relationship between both countries.
Washington: Masood Khan, Pakistan's Ambassador to the United States, has highlighted the significant role of young entrepreneurs in rebranding Pakistan's relationship with the United States.
Speaking to a group of five Pakistani entrepreneurs visiting the US under the US-funded Professional Fellows Program (PFP) in Washington DC, Ambassador Khan praised the youth for their entrepreneurial skills, IT expertise, and innovative approach.
He emphasized that the youth's contributions are laying a solid foundation for a mutually beneficial tech and trade ecosystem between Pakistan and the US.
Ambassador Khan stressed the importance of mutual exchanges and networking among young professionals and business leaders, as it strengthens bilateral ties, enhances trade relations, and dispels misperceptions.
Discussing Pak-US relations, particularly in the trade sector, Ambassador Khan highlighted the United States as the largest trade destination for Pakistani products.
Textiles, sports and leather goods, surgical instruments, and IT products were identified as major exports to the US.
