A joyous wedding celebration turned into a tragedy when a teenage girl lost her life due to aerial firing in Gujranwala. The victim has been identified as Gulshan Bibi.
The girl was standing on the balcony, observing the wedding ceremony, when she became caught in the line of fire. The victim's brother revealed that a friend of the groom began firing shots into the air despite being advised against it.
Tragically, one of the shots hit the teenage girl in the head, causing her immediate death.
The authorities promptly responded to the scene, gathering evidence and initiating legal procedures. However, the suspect managed to escape before the arrival of the police.
Police have registered a case regarding the incident and are determined to apprehend the responsible individual soon.
Meanwhile, the victim's body has been taken into custody and transferred to the hospital for further investigation.
