Islamabad: The potential wedding dates for national cricket team fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi and Insha Afridi, the daughter of former captain Shahid Afridi, have emerged following a postponement due to the Asia Cup.
Shaheen and Insha tied the knot in February in Karachi, and their wedding ceremony was scheduled for September 3, but it was postponed due to the Asia Cup commitments.
Information now suggests that the wedding ceremony of Insha has been set for September 19, while the reception will take place in Islamabad on September 21.
The delay in Shaheen and Insha's wedding was revealed by Shahid Afridi during a sports program.
He explained that the wedding was initially planned for September 3 but couldn't happen due to the Asia Cup.
Shaheen Shah Afridi's cricketing responsibilities are crucial for both Pakistan, which is why the delay was necessary.
Shahid Afridi further mentioned that the situation regarding the Asia Cup was uncertain, and he is glad that it is proceeding on schedule, with Pakistan hosting the event.
As a result, Shaheen and Insha's wedding has been postponed for the time being.
