Islamabad: The hearing of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and cypher case was postponed today (Saturday) due to Secret Act Court Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain being on leave.

According to details, the court staff informed PTI lawyers about the leave of Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain.

The Cypher case was adjourned till September 11 without further proceedings as the Secret Court judge was on leave.

It should be noted that today the lawyers of Imran Khan and party Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi were to give arguments on the bail application in cypher case.

Last week, the judge of the secret court, Abu Al-Hasanat went on leave due to his wife's health condition, after which the hearing was postponed.

Former prime minister Imran Khan was sentenced to three years in Toshakhana case on August 05. After which he was arrested and transferred to District Jail Attock, then FIA also arrested Imran Khan in cypher missing case on August 19.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) had suspended the sentence given to Imran Khan by the trial court in Tosha Khana case, but his release could not be possible due to his arrest in the cypher case, against which the Imran Khan filed a bail application.
