New York: International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief Kristalina Georgieva said that Pakistan is only being asked to prioritize revenue collection from the rich and protect the most vulnerable in Pakistan.

After meeting caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in New York, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said in a conversation with a private news channel said this is what people of Pakistan also want.

Caretaker premier Anwaar-ul-Haq termed the meeting with the head of IMF as constructive saying that efforts for economic cooperation and stability were discussed in the meeting with Kristalina Georgieva.

He said that both sides reiterated their determination to take measures for economic development and stability in the meeting.

On the other hand, Bill Gates, Co-Chairman of Bill & Melinda Gates met with Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar in New York.

Two leaders in the meeting discussed issues related to polio eradication, gender equality and child development from Pakistan.

On this occasion, the Caretaker Prime Minister stated that Caretaker Government and the National Polio Task Force are determined to eradicate polio from the entire country.

The premier added that Pakistan is determined to prevent the transmission of polio virus, immunization and other essential health services are being provided to the people.

Bill Gates said that complete elimination of polio from Pakistan is our first priority.

He also expressed his determination to stop the transmission of polio virus and continue the vaccination campaign in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
