Actress Sonam Kapoor speaks out for Palestine
The actress strongly condemned Israel's actions and raised her voice for the Palestinians.

Mumbai: The ongoing tensions between Palestine and Israel have captured global attention, with an outpouring of support from the Muslim world on social media in solidarity with the Palestinians.
Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor has made a bold statement by vehemently condemning the Israeli military's airstrikes on Palestine, leaving her fans both surprised and appreciative.
In an Instagram story, Sonam Kapoor expressed her solidarity with the Palestinians, particularly highlighting the dire situation in Gaza, where half of the population comprises children.
She shared a quote from a New York Times article written by Nicholas Kristof, which passionately criticized the global indifference toward the suffering of Palestinian children.
The actress's vocal stance has garnered significant praise on social media platforms.
Twitter users have applauded her fearless advocacy for the Palestinian cause, even in the face of potential consequences.
One user highlighted that she consistently lends her voice to important issues that other superstars often choose to remain silent on, solidifying her reputation as a true advocate for social justice and humanity.
Notably, Swara Bhaskar and Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan have also condemned the violence against innocent Palestinian children.
Shahrukh Khan urged X users for prayers, emphasizing that harming small children will not lead to any solutions, and called for peace in Palestine.
Actress Swara Bhaskar, on the other hand, condemned the brutal attacks on Palestinian civilians by Israeli forces and criticized the hypocrisy of those who only express shock at Hamas violence.
As the Israeli military continues its bombardment of Gaza in response to attacks by the Palestinian liberation organization, Hamas, the death toll continues to rise.
Israeli forces have indiscriminately targeted homes, women, and children, leading to the tragic loss of lives.
To date, 2,329 Palestinians have been killed, 9,700 have been injured, and 300,000 have been displaced due to the ongoing Israeli airstrikes in Gaza.
