Islamabad: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Sunday predicted hot and dry weather at scattered places in the country during next 12 hours.
As per Met department, hot and dry weather is likely to prevail most of the parts of the country while, cloudy weather is expected at isolated places in northeast.
Light rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar region, south Punjab, northeast Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan.
The department has recorded temperature of some major cities this morning according to which Islamabad has eighteen degree centigrade while Lahore recorded twenty-five.
Karachi’s temperature is twenty-nine, Peshawar twenty-two, Quetta nineteen, Gilgit sixteen, Murree twelve and Muzaffarabad fifteen degree centigrade.
According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with chances of rain and wind-thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Leh, cloudy weather with chances of rain thunderstorm in Shopian and Baramulla and partly cloudy weather with chances of rain wind-thunderstorm in Anantnag and cloudy weather in Pulwama while partly cloudy weather in Jammu.
Temperature recorded this morning; Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramulla nine degree centigrade, Jammu eighteen, Leh two, Anantnag and Shopian ten degree centigrade.
A day prior, several parts of the country recorded cloudy weather with rain.
