The funeral prayer of religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameels’ son late Asim Jameel will be offered today (Monday) in his native village.
Turing to social networking website X, Maulana Tariq Jameel informed about the funeral prayer of his late son.
He wrote that the funeral prayer of my late son Asim Jameel will be offered today, Monday, October 30, at 7:30pm in our native village Raisabad, Talamba.
میرے مرحوم بیٹے عاصم جمیل کی نمازِ جنازہ آج بروز سوموار 30 اکتوبر، رات ساڑھے سات بجے ہمارے آبائی گاؤں رئیس آباد، تلمبہ میں ادا کی جائے گی.

It is pertinent to note that yesterday Maulana Tariq Jameel confirmed the accidental death of his son through social media writing that his son Asim Jameel has died in Talamba. Along with this, he requested prayers for his late son and his family.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Multan Captain (Rtd) Sohail Chaudhry stated that Maulana Tariq Jameel's son has committed suicide, DPO has seen the CCTV footage.
According to RPO Multan, Asim Jameel was a psychiatric patient and was on medication for many years.
Police added that Asim Jameel asked his employee Imran for a pistol and shot himself with a 30 bore pistol. According to the police, Asim Jameel had a love marriage and and got divorced later.
