Islamabad: Iranian president Ibrahim Raisi has reached to Pakistan today (Monday) on three days tour.
According to the details, in the visit of Iranian president the signatures will be done on important agreements between the two countries. Ibrahim Raisi will also be meeting with president Asif Ali Zardari, prime minister Shehbaz Sharif, chairman senate Yousaf Raza Gilani and speaker national assembly Ayaz Sadiq.
Foreign office stated that Ibrahim Raisi has reached with his wife, foreign minister, other cabinet members, higher officials and also a huge trade delegation along with him.
Iranian president will be visiting Lahore and Karachi from April 22 to 24 where he will be meeting with both provincial governors and ministers.
However, there will be an extensive agenda to promote corporation in different fields including agriculture, trade and energy to strengthen Pak-Iran relations.
On this occasion, commissioner Karachi announced a public holiday on April 22 amid the arrival of Ibrahim Raisi in Karachi. For this a notification has been issued in which all the private, government offices and educational institutes will remain close.
