Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 935 cases of coronavirus were reported while 36 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 22,188.
The total number of cases has reached 953,842.
As many as 898,944 patients have recovered from the disease with no critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 345,655 in the province with 10,713 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 335,044 in the province, while the death toll has reached 5,407.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 137,560 in the province with 4,298 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 26,932 confirmed cases while 305 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 20,173 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 578. On the other hand, there are 5,950 cases in GB with 111 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 82,528 cases in the capital city while 776 people have lost their lives.
