Rohri: Railway Police arrested a habitual criminal while conducting operations around Rohri Railway Station.
More than 1kg of drugs and sleeping pills were recovered from a passenger of Hazara Express.
Accused Aqeel Bilal, a resident of Rahim Yar Khan district, also turned out to be a record holder. The accused got off the train and tried to run towards Rohri Railway Yard, but the Station House Officer (SHO) Altaf Hussain chased and arrested him.
Upon search, more than 1 kg of hashish and packets of sleeping pills were recovered from the accused. He had secretly tied the hashish to his stomach.
According to the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Railway Police, during the initial investigation, it was found that the accused is a record holder and habitual criminal and is also involved in several incidents.
A case was registered against the accused in Railway Police Station Rohri and an investigation was initiated, while many cases have already been registered against him in Railway Police Station Sukkur and Multan Divisions and District Police.
