Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the fourth wave of coronavirus amid threat of highly contagious Indian delta variant.


According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 3,842 cases of coronavirus were reported while 75 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 24,923.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 1,123,812.
As many as 1,009,555 patients have recovered from the disease with 5,301 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 379,574 in the province with 11,527 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 419,810 in the province, while the death toll has reached 6,590.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 156,365 in the province with 4,772 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 31,819 confirmed cases while 335 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 30,597 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 678. On the other hand, there are 9,617 cases in GB with 170 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 96,030 cases in the capital city while 851 people have lost their lives.
