Tosha Khana case: Court upholds Imran’s non-bailable arrest warrant
Imran filed a request t9o cancel non-bailable arrest warrant.
Islambad: Additional and Sessions Court Islamabad Monday upheld Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan’s Imran’s non-bailable arrest warrant in Tosha Khana case, rejecting his appeal to cancel the warrants.
Additional Session Judge Zafar Iqbal rejected the appeal filed by Imran Khan’s lawyers to cancel the non-bailable arrest warrant issued by the Sessions Court of Islamabad.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan approached the court to cancel the non-bailable arrest warrant in the Tosha Khana case.
Notably earlier on February 28, Additional Sessions Judge of Islamabad, Zafar Iqbal issued a non-bailable warrant for Imran Khan for non-appearance in the case related to Tosha Khana.
On that day, Chairman PTI was to be charged in the case, but he did not appear in court despite being summoned.
Yesterday Islamabad police went to his residence in Zaman Park Lahore to serve the notice of this warrant where there was a disturbance between PTI workers and police.
