Imran Khan has been kept in a separate section of the jail for security reasons.

Lahore: The Punjab Prisons Department has released details of the facilities being provided to the Chairman of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) Imran Khan in Attock Jail.
According to the department's spokesperson, Imran Khan has been kept in a separate section of the jail for security reasons, where he has been provided with an air cooler, bedding, and a ceiling fan as per legal requirements.
The spokesperson further stated that Imran Khan has been provided with a bed mattress, a pillow, a table, and two chairs.
The jail premises and the cell have been thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
Additionally, essential medical facilities have also been provided to Imran Khan, with doctors supervising his dietary needs in accordance with jail regulations.
The spokesperson of the Punjab Prisons Department mentioned that visits by Imran Khan's lawyers and his family members have also been facilitated in accordance with jail rules.
It's worth noting that the Islamabad High Court had previously issued orders for the provision of facilities to Imran Khan as per jail rules.
The court emphasized that the facilities and rights that Imran Khan is entitled to under jail regulations should be provided, in response to a request for his transfer from Attock Jail to Adiala Jail.
Both the federal and provincial governments are expected to respond to the request for Imran Khan's transfer to Adiala Jail on August 11th.
The court has reaffirmed that Imran Khan, being a prisoner under the jail rules, should receive the facilities as prescribed.
