ADB approves $250 million for Pakistan
The money will be used to improve the power transmission system in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Islamabad: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a loan of 250 million dollars for Pakistan.
According to the statement issued, the money will be used to improve the power transmission system in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the high voltage transmission network will be expanded.
ADB stated that the project will help increase transmission capacity, reduce transmission losses in Punjab as reliable power supply is essential for inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
