Shikarpur police kill two 'suspected robbers in shootout'
Shikarpur: Two alleged robbers were killed in a crossfire with the police in a local village of Shikarpur in early hours of Saturday, GNN reported.
A police team patrolling the area spotted the suspects standing nearby the village with an intent to rob. After seeing police the suspects opened fire on policemen. Police managed to kill both the suspects in crossfire.
Police seized weapons and bullets from the spot. The deceased were later indetified as Imdad Malik and Imtiaz Chandio.
Police said the suspects were wanted in a number of henious cases. Sources claimed the supects were "already in police custody".
