Lakki Marwat: A policeman was martyred on Friday when two unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on him at a police checkpoint near Machhankhel base in Laki Marwat.

As per details, the incident happened when police tried to stop two men on a motorcycle for a routine search and the riders opened fire on them.
The deceased policeman, Falak Naz did not sustain the injuries and died on the spot following the tragic incident.
Police said they had launched a search operation to arrest the gunmen who fled the scene after the shooting.
