Women always meet me with devotion, love: Qamar

The playwright says he went to see the woman on her invitation late night because the doctors had advised him not to go out during the day time

Lahore: Playwright Khalilur Rehman Qamar disclosed that women always met him with great devotion and love, saying that “These are not those women. Non-women and women are different,”.

Qamar angrily said that he’s fighting against feminism for the past three and half years and he would continue to do so until his last breath.

The playwright had made the disclosure while addressing a joint press conference along with DIG Operations in Lahore.

Responding to a question about meeting a woman at 4:00 am—the night when he was abducted and thrashed, he was of the view, “By God “I’ll meet even at 3:00 am”, I’ve right to go anywhere,”.

Qamar was robbed, looted and assaulted during abduction at the night time—a case that is very much known as ‘honey trap case’.

Interestingly, Khalil couldn’t escape tough questions by the journalists during the press conference. He also disclosed that he was advised by his doctor not to go outside in broad day light, and therefore, he went to see the woman at 4:40 am.

He said he’s been seeing for the past 27 years that how girls dress and talk like in showbiz industry and it’s nothing new to him and he didn’t know that she was all alone at home.

Answering another question that whether the police asked him as to why he went to meet woman late night to which he responded that, “I’m sick right now and my doctor asked me not to go in sunlight for five years, even if he didn’t ask he would’ve had meetings in nights and there is no gender discrimination is taken in to accounts whether male or female, I’ve had meeting tens of time with men at night so was that meant it was pre-planned? I met her at 4:40am as dawn was about sprout.

According to the FIR, suspect Amina called him to come over to her place as she’s interested to make a drama serial, he reached her house where armed men kidnapped him, suspects tortured him, mobile phone, watch and cash were snatched and they also made him transfer 2.5 lac through ATM.

Later they blindfolded him and left him in a deserted place and escaped.

The police claimed to have recovered the vehicle used  in honey trapping Qamar.
