Major reshuffle as Punjab govt orders transfer, posting of 15 officers

Lahore: A major reshuffle in the bureaucracy of the provincial bureaucracy as the Punjab government ordered transfer and posting of 15 officers, The Services & General Administration Department (S&GAD) said on Monday.

The provincial government issued notifications.

According to a notification, Secretary of Health Ali Jan Khan was granted a four-month leave, during which he was instructed to report to the S&GAD.

Ali Jan Khan was relieved of his position as Secretary of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education.

The notification further mentioned that a Grade 21 officer was made OSD (Officer on Special Duty) and instructed to report to the S&GAD.

Saqib Ali Aqeel was appointed as Secretary of Livestock.

Mohammad Masood Anwar was appointed as Chief of Section P&D while Azmat Mahmood, who was awaiting appointment, was assigned the role of Secretary of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education. Secretary of Bait-ul-Mal Iqbal Hussain was directed to report to the S&GAD.

The notification states that Iqbal Hussain would be attending the 121st National Management Course for training.

OSD Javed Akhtar Mahmood was appointed as Secretary of Bait-ul-Mal, while Zahoor Hussain was appointed as Member Judicial 3. Mohammad Khan Ranjha was appointed as Secretary of Archives at the S&GAD.

Mohammad Jehanzaib was appointed as Commissioner of Sargodha, while Acting Commissioner Sargodha Ajmal Bhatti was directed to report to the S&GAD. Special Secretary of School Education Khalid Nazir has been given additional charge as Secretary of School Education.

OSD Shoaib Saeed was appointed as DG Punjab Encroachment and Regulatory Authority, Nadia Saqib as Secretary of Primary and Secondary Healthcare and OSD Mohammad Ali was appointed as Commissioner of Punjab Employees Social Security Institution.
