Islamabad: An earthquake of magnitude 6.2 on the Richter scale jolted Islamabad and its surrounding areas on Thursday.
According to the seismological center, the earthquake's epicenter was the border area of Tajikistan with a depth of 60 kilometers.
The tremors were also felt in Abbottabad and Malakand.
So far, there have been no reports of damages or casualties.
