In a tragic incident, at least eight people were killed while several others sustained injuries after a gunman opened fire at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis late Thursday.

As per sources, the shooting was reported after 11 pm. and police officers arrived to an active shooter incident.
The gunman was acting alone, is reported to have killed himself, says police.
Rescue teams and SWAT teams also reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital.
Moreover, witnesses heard several gunshots at a FedEx warehouse and one witness claimed that he saw a man firing an automatic weapon.
As per authorities there was no further threat to public safety.
There have been several mass shootings in the US in recent weeks, including an April 08 shooting at a cabinet company facility in Bryan, Texas, tat left one person dead and five others wounded.
