Ships carrying wheat from Russia, Egypt arrives at Karachi
A shipment of 55,000 metric tons of wheat has reached Pakistan from Russia, accompanied by an additional 12,500 metric tons of wheat from Egypt.
Karachi: Two cargo vessels laden with wheat from Russia and Egypt have reached Port Qasim.
The arrival of these ships brings a substantial quantity of wheat, providing a boost to the country's food security.
The first vessel, named the "Sea Bird," hails from Egypt and carries a shipment of 12,500 metric tons of wheat. The unloading process for this wheat cargo is expected to be completed by this evening.
Meanwhile, the second ship, the "Bex Hale," is currently at anchorage. This vessel arrives from Russia and is loaded with an impressive cargo of 55,000 metric tons of wheat.
