‘My Universe’: BTS, Coldplay drop highly-anticipated single
Soon after the song released on Cold Play’s official YouTube channel, the single garnered more than 5 million views and over 1 million likes within 2 hours.

Seoul: K-pop sensation BTS released their highly-anticipated collaboration single titled ‘My Universe’ with British band Coldplay on Friday.
The single, ‘My Universe’ is sung in both English and Korean and BTS members RM and Suga have been credited among the songwriters.
The released video features lyrics handwritten by the members. Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin sings in the chorus while the BTS members sing other portions in Korean and English.
Soon after the song released on Cold Play’s official YouTube channel, the single garnered more than 5 million views and over 1 million likes within 2 hours.
As per reports, the song will also have a Music Video (MV) which will be released at a later date.
Apart from the single, a documentary and acoustic version are on the way.
Earlier it was reported that after the official drop, BTS and Coldplay will also star in a documentary ‘Inside My Universe’ scheduled for 26th September.
The documentary will be followed by an acoustic version set to release on the Sept 27, alongside the final and official MV.
Both bands announced the collaboration earlier this month. Following their announcement, Chris Martin and the K-pop group featured in a short video in which they jammed to the song.
They also reunited in New York earlier this week and shared a picture of their meeting as well.
Moreover, before the single’s release, fans of both bands heard a brief snippet of "My Universe" on TikTok, where Chris Martin harmonizes the uplifting chorus with BTS.
