Punjab Culture Day being observed today

Lahore: Punjab Culture Day is being observed on Monday (today) across the province. 

In a message, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar congratulated citizens of the province on Punjab Culture Day. 

He said that purpose of celebrating Punjab Culture Day is to spread the message of love. He said that culture of Punjab was promoted by great Sufi poets.

Usman Buzdar said that Information and Culture Department is organizing colorful events to celebrate Punjab Culture Day in befitting manner.

He urged people to actively participate in these events and play due role in promoting culture of Punjab.

On Punjab Culture Day, events such as music, dance, bhangra, plays, exhibition, film festival, food and traditional dresses in the form of stalls to introduce cultural values to new generations of Punjabis.

In different programmes, tribute are paid to masters in the field of Fine Arts with purpose of promoting love and courtesy on national level.
