Karachi: In an unfortunate incident, two police officers were while one other sustained severe injuries after a hand grenade ‘accidentally’ exploded inside the police headquarters in Karachi’s Garden area, GNN reported Wednesday.
As per details, the accidental explosion occurred inside the ammunition depot of the police headquarters during routine cleaning.
The martyred officers have been identified as constables Shahzad and Ali Gohar while the injured cop was the arms depot in-charge, inspector Saeed.
The investigation is underway and the bomb disposal squad has been called in.
