Mumbai: Known as Bollywood's "Mr. Perfect," Aamir Khan opened up about his emotional journey as he prepares to bid farewell to his daughter, Ira Khan.
In an interview with Indian media, the renowned actor revealed his sentimental side, emphasizing that he's gearing up for an emotional rollercoaster as his daughter embarks on a new chapter in her life.
During an interview with a news channel, Aamir Khan, known for his versatile roles in the film industry, acknowledged his emotional nature.
When the host inquired about how he would handle his daughter's departure, the actor candidly admitted, "I am going to cry a lot on this day."
As the days draw closer to the moment of separation, Aamir Khan shared that conversations within his family have already revolved around how his brother will provide support and care during this significant transition.
Ira Khan, Aamir Khan's daughter, became engaged to her close friend and fitness trainer, Nupur Shekhar, on November 18 last year.
The couple has now set a wedding date for January 3 next year, marking a momentous step in their journey together.
The actor also expressed deep affection for his son-in-law, Nupur Shekhar, describing him as a son and highlighting the unwavering support and companionship that he and Ira share.
