Diabetes is increasing all over the world, some are suffering from type 1 and some are suffering from dangerous type 2, but the number of diabetes patients in Pakistan is highest in the world.
A study has been conducted by World of Statistics, an organization sponsored by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Georgia State University, according to which the rate of diabetes in Pakistan is 30.8 percent.
In this study, the data of 38 countries was given, in which Pakistan is the first, while the second is Kuwait, where the incidence of diabetes is 24.9%, and the third is Egypt, where diabetes is 20.9%.
The lowest proportion of diabetics was recorded in Nigeria where the disease was recorded at 3.6%.
